Decision Mountain
This powerful message challenges us to move beyond simply experiencing God's presence to entering into His transforming glory. We're invited to understand the difference between God's omnipresence, which is everywhere all the time, and His manifest presence, where He concentrates His essence in specific moments and places. The sermon draws from Luke 24:49 and the Israelites' experience at Mount Sinai to illustrate a crucial spiritual truth: God desires intimacy with us, yet we often settle for staying at a comfortable distance. Like the Israelites who fled from the mountain when God's glory descended, we sometimes prefer the feel-good anointing over the life-changing glory that requires surrender and transformation. The message reminds us that we are a royal priesthood called to consecrate ourselves and press into God's presence, not as spectators but as participants. We're challenged to examine whether we want to simply dance around in the anointing or take the bold step into the cloud of His glory where true transformation happens. This isn't about good old days nostalgia or program-driven church activity, but about allowing God to clean us up and make us worthy vessels for His presence. The call is clear: exit the old life completely and enter fully into the life of Jesus, becoming the Jesus people our world desperately needs to see.
