This powerful message weaves together the sacred work of protecting life with the urgent call to reach children with the gospel. We're confronted with the miraculous reality that from the moment of conception, a complete genetic blueprint exists—20,000 genes on 23 chromosomes carrying all the instructions for a unique human being created in God's image. Within the first month, a heartbeat begins; by three months, a tiny human is fully formed. This biological wonder points us to Psalm 139's declaration that we are 'fearfully and wonderfully made.' But the message doesn't stop at birth. We learn that 83% of people who come to Christ do so between ages 4 and 14, dropping dramatically to just 4% after age 18. This sobering statistic reveals why Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me'—their natural faith and openness create a brief but critical window. The challenge before us is twofold: support ministries that help mothers choose life, and then invest in those young lives with the gospel. Whether through weekend food programs, church involvement, or simple acts of love, we're called to fill God's house with children who will serve Him for a lifetime. The question isn't whether children matter to God's kingdom—it's whether we'll answer the call to reach them while their hearts are still tender.
